The President Says He is Angry

According to the NY Times, at the press conference today, President Obama said he is angry and frustrated over the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico.

Heck, I told you that almost two weeks ago... also last year.

I got blasted by some when I first called him "our angry president" last year.

He is still our angry President. He says so himself. It's still not comforting. When there is an emergency, do you want the guy who stays cool, or do you want a screamer? "Plug the damn hole!" Screamers get action, that's for sure. But it's not always the best action.

What happens if Korea, Iran, or, God forbid, Russia or China make the President angry? What hole will he demand be plugged then?

But we love him. Right?

UPDATE: Instalanche! Thanks Professor! Folks, while you're here, take a look around, I'd especially appreciate it if you looked at the roll of the fallen Navy cryptologists in my Memorial Day post and took a minute minute to remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice.

But I don't understand.... Genius journalist Tom Friedman says Obama isn't being credited properly for concern about the Gulf oil disaster because his "cool factor" is making him come across as cold.

So, Obama's both angry and coldly detached? Why, that's the sort of combination one expects to see only in sociopaths. You know -- people who measure all things by how they serve their own desires and are unable to truly identify with or credit the needs and desires of others.

That speech he gave was rather odd... 63 minutes and only showing emotion in the last 5... like the teleprompter told him to do so...

Don't worry. Threatening national security will never make Obama angry. For that you have to do something really crazy, like oppose Obamacare or be an energy company.

Angry? And considering all he has done is pontificate about how the rest of us should behave. What in blazes gives him call to be angry. Waking up next to Michelle every morning, I can see that.
And Of. Krupke hit in on the head.
