From Here to Eternity

Why can't they make a military movie like that anymore?

So I'll admit that until tonight I had never seen the American classic movie "From Here to Eternity." All I can say is, "Damn." What a great movie. Of course I got to wondering why can't Hollywood make a movie like that nowadays? And by "like that," I mean a movie inhabited by people whose flaws are because they're people, not because they're in the military.
