Something kicked this off after all these years. And the author just happened to come upon a party, who never testified in person, but is shopping a memoir?

I'm implying that the reporter knows more than is being reported, but the tone of the story is not neutral.FODhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02926790302336719950noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15555783.post-72277336773435526952010-10-26T19:19:28.164-07:002010-10-26T19:19:28.164-07:00Come on! (The article does mention that Lillian McEwen, lawyer who said she dated Clarence Thomas from 1979 through the mid-1980 is working on a memoir. Why is that in the article and what is her relationship to Hill?)"

Are you implying Anita Hill rekindled the controversy by prompting Mrs. Thomas to research the number, pick up the phone, dial it, and leave a message that sounds suspiciously prepared in advance?
It is obvious that Mrs. Thomas was experiencing an emotional crisis that led her to do this foolish act. Anita Hill has every right to feel concerned-we live in a crazy world. Further, she has a responsibility to notify the campus police of any perceived threat due to security concerns on campuses. We know that Mrs. Thomas has apologized for her her actions and has suffered obvious embarrassment.
Frankly, I believe Hill was subjected to comments of a sexual nature along with Angela Wright who submitted a written statement for the confirmation hearings. I'm sympathetic to both woman but the attempt to slander Anita Hill then and now is ridiculous.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
